It doesn’t seem five minutes since I wrote Ivy’s birthday post from last year, but a few weeks ago Ivy turned six! Where has the time gone?!
Ivy spent her birthday morning opening presents and eating pancakes and then had to go off to school for the day. After school we had cake and then went out for pizza and ice-cream with more presents. When we got home daddy had to work, but the rest of us girls stayed up late with a DIY glow-in-the-dark disco which everyone loved!
At six years old:
// Ivy has had a growth spurt and is now so tall and grown up!
// She loves books, writing, drawing and colouring. She’s always writing letters to people. She also loves anything to do with nature, and is determined that she will have her own pet. Her favourite film is Mary Poppins!
She has just started gymnastics classes and now wants to jump on everything!
// She has her first wobbly tooth!
// After almost six years fish and chips has finally been knocked off the top food spot by pizza(!), although it is still a close second. Although she will eat almost anything now food is not her favourite thing and meal times are sometimes a battle.
// Ivy is super sensitive, but has such a caring heart. She loves to be a helper and can be a very sensible little girl. She is also incredibly stubborn! She loves her sisters and they play really well together.
I can’t believe six years has passed since this baby made me a mum. We love you so much and can’t wait to see what the next year brings.
