My name is Rachel and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by!

I’m a vicar’s wife and stay-at-home mum living in rural Pembrokeshire.
I blog about our family adventures and my passion for homemaking, organising and simple living.

I married my teenage-sweetheart Josh in 2007 and since then we’ve had three beautiful girls, Ivy (5), Alys (2) and Gwennan (newborn).

We’ve dreamt of living in the country for many years, and it’s finally becoming reality as my husband takes charge of five churches in rural Pembrokeshire. Life as a vicar’s wife and stay-at-home mum of three young girls is both rewarding and exhausting; some days I feel like I survive only on a mix of caffeine and biscuits! However, I have a passion for creating a welcoming and nurturing home and for living a God-centred, sustainable life whilst embracing nature and getting outside.

‘The Country Vicar’s Wife’ is a place for me to honestly chronicle life in our growing family and to share homemaking and organisational tips, recipes, reviews and more. I hope you enjoy following along.
