About

My name is Rachel and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by!

I’m a vicar’s wife and stay-at-home mum living in rural Pembrokeshire.
I blog about our family adventures and my passion for homemaking, organising and toxin free living.

I married my teenage-sweetheart Josh in 2007 and since then we’ve had three beautiful girls, Ivy (6), Alys (3) and Gwennan (1). As a homemaker, I am passionate that a house shouldn’t just be somewhere you reside but should be a safe place of welcome and nurturing for both your family and for others. As a vicar’s wife and stay-at-home mum of three I understand the joys, but also the burdens of trying to run a household and keep all the balls in the air so I share some simple organisational methods and encouragements which make it so much easier.

At the beginning of 2018 I made a resolution to make our home completely ‘toxic free‘ – I love to share what I have discovered and help other people discover the benefits of essential oils and other toxic free alternatives for their lives, as well as de-cluttering and minimalism.

‘The Country Vicar’s Wife’ is a place for me to honestly chronicle life in our growing family and to share homemaking and organisational tips, recipes, reviews and more. I hope you enjoy following along.
