6 Small Instagram Brands You’ll Love

In the run up to Christmas, if you’re anything like me you’ll be scratching your head wondering what gifts to buy your friends and family. I love to give presents that people will actually like rather than just spending for the sake of it so for the last few years I have been scouring the internet for different and creative gifts.

Instagram has been a great inspiration to me – it is by far my favourite social media platform. As well as discovering a community of wonderfully supportive and creative people I have also come across a number of lovely small businesses that use Instagram to promote their products. I have loved ‘getting to know’ the creators behind the brand through their little Instagram squares and have had the opportunity to buy some great products too.

Here are six of my favourite small brands that I have discovered via Instagram:

Little Maldod

Little Maldod is an online shop run by the lovely Lowri. You’ll find unique homeware, party and baby items, and everything comes wrapped beautifully. My favourite items are the personalised baby gift boxes.

Ethel and Co

Ethel and Co produce “modern family heirlooms” – beautiful personalised plates for baby’s births or family and house portraits. There are tons of options to make your plate unique to your needs and the quality is great.

Izzy and Pop

Look no further for beautiful hand-lettered prints and cards from graphic designed Izzy Lewis. I have ordered several and they really are lovely and come beautifully wrapped.

Milk and Honey Bakes

If you’re looking for a really different gift why not send some letterbox brownies from Milk and Honey Bakes? Hannah makes “the best brownies I’ve ever eaten” according to the person I sent them to!

Megan Tucker Illustration

I love the prints and cards from this Welsh based illustrator. She specialises in welsh language designs as well as bags, keyrings and more.

House by Betty

This is actually a shop based pretty close to where we live, but I first discovered it via Instagram! They provide lots of practical – but beautiful – homeware and I’m a little bit obsessed. Think handthrown mugs, ostrich feather dusters and natural wooden washing up brushes.

Please head over and check out some of these guys. I hope it gives you some inspiration for Christmas!
